Our classes are all led by our very own EmpowHER coaches, Coral & Kay, who are fully qualified and experienced with female programming, meaning that every class is specifically planned around strengthening, sculpting and creating your fittest, healthiest body. Our classes are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced! Everyone has to start somewhere so you won't ever feel alone if it's your first time! If you're a gym regular, we promise you'll still feel the same empowerment and buzz!! (we do too)

  • That’s a wrap for another amazing week at EmpowHER Fitness 🫶🏼

Yesterday, we held a Deadlift Workshop for members and non-members to give these girls the chance to run through their deadlift technique and form.

In this workshop we talked through the different types of deadlift movements and worked step by step with the girls going over cues to help break down each part of the movement.

The Deadlift can be difficult to learn for some, but after this workshop these girls left feeling more knowledgeable, confident and ready to tackle deadlifts going forward!

A strong week so far into week 2 of our strength phase!

Why do we use strength phases at EmpowHER?✨

For Muscular strength. Muscular strength is your ability to put your maximum force into 1-5 reps. Training for strength will involve lifting heavy loads for less reps and longer rest in-between each set.

Around our strength phase we train for Muscular endurance, this is the ability to maintain repeated reps over a longer period of time. This will mean you’re lifting lighter loads for 6-15 reps with less rest periods in-between!

So, to help our girls focus on increasing the amount of weight they can lift and become stronger, we make sure to include strength phases in our programming so you’re lifting heavy for 1-5 reps and prove to yourself what your body can do!
